Dandan noodle is a noodle dish originated in Sichuan Province of China, that consists of minced meat and sliced preserved vegetable in a spicy sauce. Although it is a well-known type of noodle dish in Hong Kong or Japan, it is prepared in greatly different styles in different places.
Dandan noodle that we offer was born and brought up in Japan. Our style, in which the noodles are mixed with a spicy soup with sesame flavor, is different from the soupless Chinese noodles from Sichuan. However, due to its deliciousness, we are even beginning to export it back to its original place of birth in China.
The soup that has the flavor of spicy sesame oil and tahini may induce a lot of sweating and has a strong detoxing effect.
